Headache relevant to the eye

Headache that follows ziz-zag lights and/or blank spots in the vision is characteristic of migraine.

Localised headache and tenderness typically affecting the skin to the side of the head and temple indicates Giant Cell Arteritis.

Generalised headache typically worse on lying may be due to raised intra-cranial pressure (Intracranial hypertension).
